Graphic Designer/Artist for MT Publishing Company, Evansville, IN.

Oversee the design and layout of community history books and civil service historical yearbooks, managing several projects at various stages at once. Duties include, but not limited to: all aspects of design and layout for historical books, pre-press set-up for direct to plate printing, proofing, getting quotes from vendors for printing of promotional pieces, design of promotional pieces for targeted marketing, input on marketing strategies, liaison between printing company, our company and client, customer service to both clients and customers, filing of copyright for clients, design and maintenance of company e-commerce web site using a Magento platform and WooCommerce, coordinating social media and e-newsletters for company, order entry and on occasion shipping of books, along with general office duties of answering the phones, taking orders, and general customer service.

2014 to Present: Owner/Artist of Canvas & Conversation. A mobile paint party experience. I bring the paint and you bring the wine. Involves not only leading paint-n-sip events, but event planning, working with various venues and fundraising through art and art workshops.
