These two paintings are by John Shartung. John was a student in my first class at Owensboro Community College, Intro to Art. He has since gone on to get his MFA in printmaking and is a hell of an artist. These two pieces I was gifted and one hangs over my office desk and the other in my front entryway of my house. These are my favorites.
